WHICH WAS THEN READ AS “GOODBYE”

AND THAT’S WHY WE SAY “GOODBYE”

BECAUSE OF 16TH CENTURY CHAT SPEAK

i have been waiting for someone else to point this out forever ITS THE SAME IN OTHER LANGUAGES TOO like “adios” as in “goodbye” in Spanish is literally “With God” and so is “Adieu” in French
